Bearded Collie

The Bearded Collie, also known as the Highland Collie, Mountain Collie, or the Hairy Mouthed Collie is one of Britain’s oldest breeds. They are a medium sized dog with an aura of strength and liveliness with characteristics of a real working dog.

The Bearded Collie need regular grooming to keep their coats free of mats and need at least two hours of exercise each week to keep them fit.

The Bearded Collie are very accepting of other animals and people. They love to have something to watch over. They are stable and self-confident, showing no signs of shyness or aggression.  Above all, the Bearded Collie is a family dog who loves children.
