Canaan Dog
Canaan Dogs are intelligent, docile, devoted, and willing to please. They have a double coat, with soft undercoat and straight, flat outer coat that are mainly white in colour.
The Canaan Dog possesses extremely keen senses of hearing and smell, and he can detect approaching intruders from a considerable distance, becoming instantly alert. He is an intelligent, trainable breed whose tracking ability is excellent. When raised with children and other pets, he becomes a devoted family companion and a natural watchdog. He is distant with strangers, inquisitive, loyal, and loving with his family.
Canaan dogs, because of their working background, are never content to just sit around. Long jogs, strenuous games or herding sessions will keep them happy.
Brush the coat once a week to remove dead hairs.
The Canaan Dog’s intelligence makes training a fairly simple process.
